Google Earth

Es ist ein update für Google Earth rausgekommen. Habs zwar installiert, aber noch nicht
geguckt was neu ist.

alte Versionsnummer : 5.1.3535.3218
neue Versionsnummer:5.2.1.1329

Ich habs über die online/update Funktion runtergezogen (unter Hilfe -> Auf Online-Updates prüfen)

Hm, ich habe es eben nochmal probiert und es lief einwandfrei.
Mit dem Firefox
Dann habe ich den eingebauten IE8 probiert und habe die gleiche Fehlermeldung wie du erhalten.
Also mir fällt keine andere Lösung ein als den FF zu probieren.
Dann klappts auch mit dem Download

Genau das kann ich nicht sagen
Die Gegenden die ich mir so anschaue sind gleich geblieben
und so richtig reingekniet habe ich mich nicht.

You can create Track and Multitrack by authoring KML documents or by importing your GPS data (from a number of GPS receivers or file formats such as GPX) into Google Earth.

* Elevation Profile in Google Earth:
- You can see elevation profile of a line-string or track in Google Earth. It plots the elevation profile, speed, and associated extended data (for example, heart rate) in a KML file.

* Added file import types:
- NMEA (.log and .nmea), Garmin GDB, Garmin Training Center, and Ozi Explorer files can now all be read. Garmin fitness extensions are now read from GPX. Extended data for Elevation Profile and Track is handled when available.

Ich hab mir angewöhnt, bei Versionssprüngen, die nur die Nachkommastelle betreffen, erstmal nicht upzudaten...das gilt nicht nur für Google Earth, sondern generell.
Ausnahme: Versionssprünge von z.B. x.1 auf x.5, denn da sind meistens wirkliche Verbesserungen drinne.
